Diabetes Awareness Month - 2021

During Diabetes Awareness Month, together with Diabetes NZ we celebrate Winsome Johnson.  Winsome has lived with Type 1 Diabetes for 87 years!    

Insulin was discovered 7 years before Winsome was born.  Had she been born a decade earlier, she would not have survived.  

Winsome has lived a long and happy live and we are proud to partner with Diabetes New Zealand to name a bracelet after Winsome.  All the profit from the sale of this bracelet goes back to Diabetes NZ and goes towards the work they do in the community.
